Hey there,
So lots to update everyone about. New Years, was probably one of the best I have had yet. We went down to the beach. All day we were worried about the wind, as it was so blowy and then late afternoon, the wind disappeared.YEAH!! we had a bit of a paddle and some nommy fish and Chips (Thanks Hubby, Bro in law and Friends Hubby for waiting in line at shop for 45 mins). After the sun had set, our friends came back to ours for a few drinks and to ring the new year in...Blissfull. This is the girls on the day.
and one of me and the hubbstar:
My husband, being the beautiful man that he is, took me to the 12 apostles yesterday. A day trip where we drove (he drove) for like 10 hours. We even nearly died!! The stupid Navman GPS lady wanted us to go down a road that did not exist.
It was then we realised we had to make the choice, do we go back a few hours to another turn off? or do we attempt the dirt road, that says it will take us to the town before the apostles in 18 k?? ......Dirt road it was!! But........oh good lord.... we ended up driving along a cliff edge, where you could not see the bottom, and it was all rainforest and fern like, no reception of signs of life for like an hour.
Tom was shitting himself to say the very least, and not telling me about his concern, as I have anxiety and he didnt want me to have a panic attack to top it all off. After we got out of the road from hell...he let me know just how much he wanted to kiss the sealed road ahead lol!
The funniest part to it all (funny?? or scary) Is when we got off the dirt road and pulled over, we saw a sign leading to the dirt road saying " school bus route" WTH Man?!?
Heres some pics from the day:
Last but not least, I HAVE to mention this dog beach i discovered online. It is on sandown street in Middle Brighton....and it was SO SO SO GOOD!
What it is, is a beach that has been section and gated off, so that you can let your dogs off lead and they can swim and frolic without affecting the non dog lovers. I was a bit skeptical about what it would be like....(will there be poo everywhere etc??) But, it was clean, the dogs were all friendly (many a sign saying uncontrolled, aggressive dogs not welcome.) and my dogs had the time of their lives....my little Miley's new name is FURMAID (dog mermaid). As for danger....he thinks he is allergic to water....he'll get there... I can not wait to go back and HIGHLY recommend it. You can swim with your dogs there it is that nice!
I am off for my daily 5 k walk...wanna get my fat ass into shape!!
Holidays are sooooo good.....back to work in one week DOH!! Unless....i win the lottery?? PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE GOD let me win!!!!
Speak soon peeps.
Kisses
